Trama: Ecuadorian Film Festival in Cuenca - La leyenda de Tayos

About this event

Trama Ecuadorian Film Festival is an initiative aimed at decentralizing cultural offerings, activating public spaces, and expanding access to Ecuadorian cinema. By bringing productions that reflect the country's cultural, territorial, and social diversity to the neighborhoods and rural sectors of the canton, this project is held in collaboration with the Cinemateca Nacional and the Instituto de Cine y Creación Audiovisual (ICCA). La leyenda de Tayos.- Janos Moricz, a visionary Hungarian explorer, claims to have discovered a metallic library inside a cave in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Convinced that his discovery could change humanity, he strives to secure support from the government and other institutions to launch new expeditions and achieve the recognition his find deserves.
